Job summary

Nscale is seeking an experienced HSE Coordinator to safeguard safety, health and environmental sustainability across our data center facilities in Glomfjord. You will lead a zero-harm culture, ensure regulatory compliance, and drive risk-based improvements in a high-visibility, high-voltage environment.

In this on-site role, you’ll conduct audits, manage incidents, deliver training, and collaborate with site managers, engineers and contractors to embed world-class safety practices while aligning

Qualifications

• 5+ years of dedicated experience in HSE roles in heavy industrial environments.
• Degree or certification in Occupational Health & Safety or related field.
• Fluent in Norwegian; English proficiency required.
• Experience with digital EHS management systems; EcoOnline is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of local safety legislation and ISO 45001/14001.
• Willingness to work on-site at Glomfjord and occasional travel.

Responsibilities

• Champion a zero-harm safety culture on-site and set clear expectations.
• Monitor regulatory compliance across health, safety and environment.
• Conduct safety walks, risk assessments, audits, and remediation.
• Participate in incident investigations and root cause analysis.
• Lead training, onboarding, and LOTO governance for staff and contractors.
• Oversee environmental monitoring and ESG-aligned site operations.
• Collaborate with site managers, engineers, and external partners.
