• Certifications such as CPHR are assets

Responsibilities

• Advise on labour relations, recruitment and retention, benefits and leave management
• Coach on disciplinary processes and meetings
• Review job descriptions and classifications and draft descriptions
• Support grievance handling and arbitration preparation
• Audit HR practices and recommend improvements
• Represent HR on committees
• Provide back-up support to other HR roles
