Job summary

Athona Nursing is recruiting an experienced Band 6 Health Visitor to join the Health Visiting Service in Hounslow. You will deliver the Healthy Child Programme, support children and families, and work to safeguard children within the community.

This is a part-time, temporary role (22.5 hours per week) with a start date 5 October 2026 and an end date 20 January 2027. Registered Nurse with valid NMC registration and specialist Health Visiting qualification are required.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse with valid NMC registration.
• Specialist qualification in Health Visiting.
• Previous Health Visitor experience.
• Experience delivering the Healthy Child Programme.
• Knowledge of safeguarding procedures in health visiting.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
• Ability to work independently and in teams.
