Job summary

Industry & Commerce is recruiting a senior Finance professional to take full ownership of the Group's finance function. You will oversee the month-end close, management accounts, statutory statements, and the audit timetable, while leading a small team in a PE-backed environment.

You will report to the Finance Director, drive strategic decisions with the FP&A team, and implement efficient financial processes to support growth and M&A activity.

Qualifications

• Qualified ACA/ ACCA or equivalent to be considered for the role, with ideally 5 years PQE experience.
• Strong audit background and experience working within a group function would be beneficial.
• Experience working with multi-entity group consolidation and having managed a small team is beneficial.
• Experience working in a PE backed business would be beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Full ownership of the Group month-end and close, ensuring clear deadlines.
• Ensure management accounts are complete and aligned to Group accounting policies.
• Prepare Statutory financial statements and manage the audit timetable.
• Take ownership of the technical accounting papers and support on any M&A transactions where required.
• Work with senior leadership to drive decision making and work closely with the FP&A team.
• Improve and implement any processes and procedures to create efficiencies
