Job summary

Manta Technologies, an AI company based in Oslo, is seeking a Head of Group Accounting to own the consolidated accounts for a fast-growing multi-country group. You will lead end-to-end annual and interim reporting, handle tax returns, and shape the finance function with direct access to strategic decision-makers.

You will bring 4+ years in accounting or auditing with direct consolidation experience, Norwegian GAAP and IFRS knowledge, and fluency in Norwegian and English.

Qualifications

• At least 4 years of experience in accounting or auditing.
• Direct experience with consolidated group accounts.
• Solid grounding in Norwegian GAAP and IFRS.
• Proficient in both Norwegian and English.
• Master's degree or MR P qualification preferred.
• Genuine influence over building the finance function, tools, and processes.
• Direct access to strategic decision-makers.
• Key role in a fast-growing AI company.

Responsibilities

• Own the consolidated accounts for the group, end to end, including annual and interim reporting.
• Prepare consolidated financial statements and tax returns for a multi-country company.
• Manage the accounting implications of equity transactions in a company-building context.
• Resolve complex technical accounting questions independently and decide when to involve external specialists.
• Shape the finance function, tools, and standards with real influence and direct access to decision-makers.
