Clarion Hotel The Edge in Tromsø seeks a Head Chef to own the kitchen, shape menus with local Arctic produce, and confidently present concepts to event guests. Lead banquet and à la carte dining, craft bold concepts, and champion sustainability through local suppliers and reduced waste, reporting to the Executive Chef and Strawberry central F&B team.

Qualifications

• Highly skilled chef with a trade certificate and solid experience in banquet and/or à la carte service.
• Experience shaping menus with local identity and Arctic produce.
• Ability to present food concepts confidently to guests and events.

Responsibilities

• Crafting menus with local identity for à la carte and banquets.
• Presenting the food and stories behind dishes at events.
• Delivering high-quality service during demanding evening shifts.
• Driving sustainability with short-traveled ingredients and local partnerships.
• Collaborating with the Executive Chef and leading when required.
