Qualifications

• Native Gujarati speaker with full command of the Gujarati script and orthography.
• Experience in annotation, transcription, localization, or related language data work is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Source publicly accessible Gujarati PDFs for annotation tasks.
• Identify and bound page regions (title, headings, paragraphs, tables, figures) with reading order indices.
• Record relationships between regions and their parent tables/figures.
• Transcribe Gujarati text faithfully, marking illegible regions.
• Capture page metadata and provide feedback for review.
