Responsibilities

• Source publicly accessible Malayalam PDFs with multimodal elements.
• Annotate structure by bounding regions and assigning types and reading-order indices.
• Record relationships linking regions to their parent figures/tables.
• Transcribe faithfully in Malayalam script, flagging illegible regions.
• Capture page metadata including language, type, source, dimensions, and handwriting flags.
• Review by a second Malayalam expert to ensure accuracy.
