Job summary

Mercell is the leading SaaS platform for public procurement in Europe, headquartered in Oslo. We are seeking a Group Controller to join our Group Finance team in a broad role spanning financial controlling, FP&A and operations, with responsibilities across cost control, reporting, forecasting and cash management.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years in accounting or finance, strong Excel skills and experience with financial systems.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Accounting, Finance or similar.
Strong experience (3–5 years) in accounting, auditing or financial/ business controlling.
Interest in moving closer to the business and broader experience in reporting and operations.
Good Excel skills and confidence with financial systems and data; Oracle Netsuite is a plus.
Good English communication and cross-team collaboration.

Responsibilities

Contribute to financial reporting, analysis and controls with reliable numbers and insights.
Support cost controlling, budgeting and forecasting in collaboration with the business.
Assist with cash management, forecasting and working capital for daily operations.
Contribute to transfer pricing, inter-company financing, cost allocation and funding at the legal entity level.
Improve processes and ways of working with a practical, hands-on approach.
