Job summary

Nexans is seeking a Business Controller - Capex, Cash and Balance Sheet in Oslo. The role requires deep financial discipline to drive Capex governance, cash forecasting and balance sheet accuracy across global sites, with flexibility to work in Oslo, Puteaux or Charleston.

You will partner with operations and the Head of Finance, bringing 7+ years of project/industrial finance experience, advanced Excel/Power BI skills, and fluency in English to support strategic targets.

Qualifications

• Master degree in Finance or Business.
• 7+ years of experience in project/industrial finance or audit.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to synthesize information.
• Able to interact with operations and learn quickly.
• Advanced use of Excel, PowerPoint and Power BI.
• Fluent in English (oral and written).

Responsibilities

• Own Capex consolidation, budgets and forecasts at G&T level.
• Manage cash forecast and balance sheet items with governance.
• Provide action plans to reach targets and challenge projects.
• Maintain forecast accuracy for Norwegian entities in HFM.
• Collaborate with operations across Norway/France/USA.
