Job summary

Mercell, headquartered in Oslo, Norway, is seeking a Group Controller to join the Group Finance team. The role covers financial controlling, FP&A and finance operations, including reporting, forecasting, cash management and working capital.

You will work with colleagues across Finance and the business to own and enhance financial processes. The position offers hybrid work with on-site days and from home, and a chance to broaden operational finance experience in a fast-growing European SaaS

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance or similar.
• Strong experience (3–5 years) in accounting, auditing, or financial/business controlling.
• Interest in moving closer to the business and broadening operational experience.
• Good Excel skills and comfort with financial systems; NetSuite experience a plus.
• Good English communication and cross-team collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to financial reporting, analysis and controls for reliable numbers.
• Support cost controlling, budgeting and forecasting in collaboration with the business.
• Assist with cash management, forecasting and working capital.
• Contribute to transfer pricing, inter-company financing, internal cost allocation and funding at legal entity level.
• Improve processes with a practical, hands-on approach.
