Job summary

Qualifications

  • Engineering degree in a relevant field (mechanical or structural).
  • Experience in design, fabrication, and testing of pressure equipment is preferred.
  • Knowledge of piping flexibility analysis is beneficial.

About The Role
About Our Section:

Our section specializes in the design approval, verification, and conformity assessment of pressure equipment used on land, in ships, and in the offshore industry.

Role Overview:

We are seeking a graduate engineer to join our CMC team, which focuses on design approval in accordance with DNV Rules and Standards. Although the primary focus for this position is CMC, our section also delivers services in the international transport of dangerous goods and Pressure Equipment Directive industries. The candidate will have the opportunity to develop expertise in these areas under the guidance of our experts.

About You
We are looking for a colleague who has:
  • Engineering Degree: Preferably within mechanical or structural engineering.
  • Pressure Equipment Experience: Experience in the design, fabrication, and testing of pressure equipment.
  • Piping Flexibility Analysis: Experience in piping flexibility analysis is beneficial.
  • EU Directives Knowledge: Familiarity with EU directives such as PED (Pressure Equipment Directive) and TPED (Transportable Pressure Equipment Directive) is beneficial.
  • Dangerous Goods Equipment: Experience with equipment intended for the transport of dangerous goods (ADR/IMDG) is beneficial.
  • Quality System Auditing: Experience in quality system auditing is beneficial.Project Management: Ability to handle several projects in parallel.
  • Language Skills: Good written and verbal English skills; Norwegian language skills are beneficial.
