Maritime Advisory Life Cycle Management (LCM) is a section based in Oslo, London and Miami / Houston providing maritime advisory services add substantial value to the business of DNV’s maritime customers and strengthening the development of customer relationships. Due to a high workload we are seeking to hire an enthusiastic and motivated graduate with strong analytical and interpersonal skills to join our section for Lifecycle Management at Høvik/Oslo. The section offers technical advisory and due diligence for owners and stakeholders of ships and mobile offshore units.
We have developed and tailored tools and methodology to help our clients improving its performance of vessels and fleets whilst ensuring compliance with charterer and regulatory requirements. We cover the full lifecycle including newbuild, operations, layup and ship recycling.
We are looking to strengthen our team with a consultant with a relevant higher academic / technical degree. Relevant professional experience is an advantage, but not a requirement. We are looking for somebody with a flexible mindset to take on projects for multiple facets of tasks and challenges triggered by many different individual client needs.
Successful candidates will join our team of highly competent consultants involving collaboration with maritime advisory teams across our organization. The role will draw on the totality in DNV capabilities to participate in and execute multidiscipline projects. Typical projects in our section include technical due diligence, remnant useful life assessment, life cycle analysis, new build advisory and project risk, regulatory gap analysis and technology qualification. We will facilitate on the job training, mentoring and formal training for the successful candidates to ensure a smooth transition into the activities and projects in the section.
