Job summary

Odfjell Technology Ltd. is seeking an Asset Manager to own the asset management strategy and ensure assets are safe, available, optimized, and ready to support operations worldwide.

You will advise leadership across regions and lines, shaping investment decisions and lifecycle management for critical equipment. The ideal candidate has 7+ years in asset management, strong knowledge of lifecycle management, ERP platforms such as IFS, SAP or Oracle, and solid stakeholder communication skills.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Finance, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or related field.
• 7+ years of experience in asset management or asset-intensive industries.
• Strong knowledge of equipment lifecycle management, maintenance strategies and reliability.
• Experience with ERP and asset management platforms (IFS, SAP, Oracle).
• Strong analytical capabilities in asset utilization and lifecycle planning.
• Familiarity with HSE requirements and regulatory frameworks.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• ISO 55000 / 55001 knowledge; professional certifications (CMRP, CRL, PMP) advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Own and continuously develop the company’s Strategic Asset Management Plan.
• Lead annual asset planning and support long-term capacity and investment forecasting.
• Establish and govern global asset management standards across regions.
• Monitor asset availability, utilisation, condition, and lifecycle milestones.
• Provide input into tenders, business cases, CAPEX, and major investments.
• Govern asset documentation and lifecycle data in ERP systems.
• Define and track asset performance KPIs for Executive reporting.
• Collaborate with Product Line Managers to ensure optimal equipment availability.
• Drive continuous improvement and best practice asset management.
