Job summary

Oda is seeking a Fulfillment Operating Manager to lead a day shift in the Norwegian distribution network. You will manage safety, quality and efficiency, coaching team leaders and frontline staff to deliver reliable operations.

You will engage in hands-on problem-solving, use data to drive decisions, and coordinate cross-functional collaboration in a fast-paced environment. This on-site role is based at Drammensveien 189, Lierskogen.

We’re looking for a Fulfillment Operating Manager to join Oda!

As a Fulfillment Operating Manager, you oversee the operations and performance of a specific day shift. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure that your shift operates according to our safety guidelines, meets its performance targets, and operates efficiently. You will lead a team of Team Leaders and create a structured environment that fosters effective communication, alignment, and planning.

What you’ll be doing as a Fulfillment Operating Manager

• You have operational responsibility for your shift’s performance within areas such as safety, quality, general well-being, and efficiency.

• You will monitor these areas through KPIs set within your department and take action when necessary to ensure these are met.

• You will act as a role model and coach when it comes to leadership and provide guidance and support for your team leaders and other employees on your shift.

• You will need to roll up your sleeves, helping out in operations, supporting personnel follow-up cases, and in general helping in addressing concerns, questions, and issues that may arise according to company-defined standards.

• You are in charge of Root Cause Analyses (RCAs) on serious near-misses or injuries happening during your shift. In general, ensure that deviations are followed up and closed within deadlines.

• You set expectations for your team leaders and ensure that the shift structure is maintained and that meetings and reports are executed properly and timely.

• You maintain and ensure that your shift has the necessary competency, and that each team is evenly distributed both with regard to total numbers of FTEs and competency.

• You support the testing and implementation of new initiatives.

You have strong interpersonal skills to navigate difficult conversations and lead teams effectively, combined with proactive planning to anticipate outcomes and meet deadlines.

What you’ll need to succeed

• You are an operational leader with experience, preferably with broad personnel responsibility.

• You enjoy being a leader who cares about each individual and has experience forming a strong team culture

• You are used to working with warehouse management systems and technologies.

• You have a problem-solving mindset and are used to solving challenges in a hectic operational environment.

• You are comfortable working with numbers and utilizing data as an analytical tool in daily production.

What would be nice to have

• You are fluent in English, both written and spoken. Norwegian is a plus.

• You have worked within the grocery / e -commerce industry.

• You have a solid understanding of Norwegian labor law
