Job description

At Oda, we develop affordable grocery services to make the logistics of living surprisingly easy. First we built Norway’s leading online grocery store and now, partnered with Mathem in Sweden, we’re on our way to becoming the world’s most effective grocery system, delivering to thousands of Scandinavian doorsteps every week.

As part of our team, you’ll work with smart, passionate colleagues who bring their whole selves to work every day. It’s a fast-moving, collaborative environment where everyone is welcome and everyone’s opinion matters. Whether you're shaping the future of online retail, tackling complex logistical problems, or making everyday life better for our customers, your work will have a real impact. Read on to find out what part you could play in our story.

We’re looking for a CRM Lead to join Oda!

CRM at Oda and Mathem is a highly complex and impactful area, as it touches all the aspects of the company. A successful campaign is designed and launched in collaboration with Operations (drivers and pickers), Commercial (products and prices), Product (features and data) and more. Having a direct impact on top- and bottom-line, CRM is indeed one of Oda and Mathem’s strongest levers to increase short- and long-term sales.

Reporting to the Head of Marketing Operations, you will lead our CRM strategy and execution, and work closely with other colleagues in product, data and performance marketing. An important part of this role is discovering what it means to be an AI-native marketing and growth team, as LLMs are poised to fundamentally improve our ability to communicate and nudge our customers.

What you’ll be doing as CRM Lead

Set the long-term CRM strategy, including onboarding, activation, habit formation and win-back, grounded on basket economics, order frequency and ultimately top- and bottom-line.

Define AI’s role in CRM and develop our AI roadmap. LLMs limit our CRM team’s dependency on engineers, designers and data analysts and scientists. You’ll help us identify how customer journeys evolve and develop the next-level CRM opportunities.

Analyse data to identify CRM opportunities for ad hoc and lifecycle campaigns. Oda has always been a data-first company, so the challenge is not getting data but identifying opportunities.

Lead the CRM work and develop our CRM specialists in Norway and Sweden. You’ll split your time between being hands‑on with the CRM specialist and stepping back to develop our CRM capabilities and strategy.

Collaborate closely with colleagues (such as product, data and performance marketing) to ensure consistency between CRM campaigns, our shop experience and performance marketing campaigns.

Monitor budget and calculate short- and long-term P&L impact of our CRM campaigns.

To thrive in this role, you bring a results-driven, commercial mindset with a strong analytical foundation, always looking for growth opportunities to drive revenue. You thrive in fast-paced environments where priorities shift, approaching challenges with curiosity and a willingness to experiment.

What you’ll need to succeed

We know that talent comes in many forms. While these are the core skills we're looking for, we value diverse perspectives and encourage you to apply even if you don't check every single box.

You’ve driven incremental revenue through personalised CRM campaigns across email, SMS and push.

You’re comfortable working with analytics tools like Google Analytics, Looker, Power BI or Excel, and marketing automation platforms such as Iterable or Braze.

You know how to lead CRM projects and make sharp prioritisation calls.

You are a builder and have written code, either yourself or with Claude Code or similar applications.

You enjoy digging into customer behaviour data to shape marketing strategies.

You are fluent in English; proficiency in Norwegian or Swedish is a plus.

What would be nice to have

6+ years of experience in growth, product, technology, or a similar area.

A degree in Marketing, Business, Economics, Data Science or a similar relevant field.

Experience working cross‑functionally with product, content, and data teams.

You are familiar with e‑commerce environments.

What we offer

A chance to make a real impact as a CRM Lead in a fast-moving company with a product people love, while shaking up the grocery industry.

Teammates who aim high and have each other’s backs. We care about people, and that means supporting each other every step of the way.

A flat structure where we team up across disciplines to solve exciting challenges. Big ideas come from everywhere!

A transparent way of working. We use Slack to stay in the loop, fewer meetings, more getting things done.

A collaborative approach – we tackle exciting tech and product challenges together, across different fields.

A chance to shape the future of grocery shopping while building a company that’s here to stay.

A few final words

At Oda, you’ll join a passionate, ambitious team working to change the future of grocery shopping. We’re all different—just like you—and we wouldn’t have it any other way. If you need any adjustments or support during the application process, just let us know, and we’ll do our best to help. We believe in the strength of a diverse workforce and want everyone to have an equal shot at landing the job.

If this role sounds interesting to you, please apply by June 23rd.

This role is located in our headquarters at Tøyen, Oslo. As all the stakeholders are on site, we believe that the role will succeed the most when being at the office as often as possible.
