Job summary

MECA is looking for a skilled light vehicle mechanic to join our Norwegian workshop. You’ll service, diagnose, and repair engines, brakes, suspension and electrical systems, including electric and hybrid vehicles, with modern equipment.

A valid B driving license and a trade certificate or relevant experience are required. We offer a permanent position, relocation help, and ongoing training in EVs and diagnostics.

Qualifications

• Holds a trade certificate (vocational qualification) as a light vehicle mechanic, or has extensive relevant experience.
• Has a valid class B driving licence.
• Ideally has high-voltage (EV) safety training, or is willing to complete it.
• Speaks and writes English or Norwegian.

Responsibilities

• Servicing and maintenance according to manufacturer guidelines
• Fault-finding and diagnostics using modern equipment
• Repairs to engines, brakes, suspension and electrical systems
• Work on electric and hybrid vehicles
• Tyre changes and wheel alignment
• Documenting completed work
