Job summary

Jobswoop AS is seeking a skilled Car Mechanic to join our workshop in Norway. You will service, diagnose, and repair engines, brakes, suspensions, and electrical systems, including electric and hybrid vehicles.

You will work with modern equipment and document all completed work accurately. The ideal candidate holds a trade certificate or substantial experience, a valid B-class licence, and is comfortable with English or Norwegian; EV safety training is a plus or willingness to obtain it.

Qualifications

• Trade certificate (vocational) as a light vehicle mechanic, or extensive relevant experience.
• Valid class B driving licence.
• Ideally EV safety training, or willingness to complete it.
• Fluency in English or Norwegian.

Responsibilities

• Servicing and maintenance according to manufacturer guidelines.
• Fault-finding and diagnostics using modern equipment.
• Repairs to engines, brakes, suspension and electrical systems.
• Work on electric and hybrid vehicles.
• Tyre changes and wheel alignment.
• Documenting completed work.
