Job summary

Head Energy Consulting AS is seeking an Environmental Advisor to support environmental management across our projects. The role focuses on delivering expert environmental assessments, regulatory compliance, and data-driven reporting for onshore and offshore activities.

The candidate should hold a higher university degree with 5–10 years of experience, be proficient in English and Norwegian, and ideally hold the GSK offshore safety certificate to enhance project effectiveness.

Qualifications

• Requires relevant higher university degree.
• 5–10 years of relevant experience.
• Knowledge of NCS and European regulations and standards.
• Fluent in English and Norwegian.
• GSK offshore safety course preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide environmental support to activities and projects
• Contribute to environmental risk assessments and chemical assessments
• Support regulatory processes and government correspondence
• Coordinate collection, verification, follow-up and reporting of environmental performance data, including CSRD and OGMP
• Provide advice on environmental performance, emissions management and reduction initiatives
• Drive improvements in environmental data systems and reporting tools

Job Description

• We are looking for an Environmental Advisor to support the company's activities within the environmental discipline.
• You will be responsible for providing expert advice on environmental management, conducting environmental assessments, and ensuring that all activities are carried out in accordance with relevant environmental standards and regulations.

Main Tasks

• Provide environmental support to activities and projects
• Contribute to environmental risk assessments and chemical assessments
• Support regulatory processes and government correspondence
• Coordinate the collection, verification, follow-up and reporting of environmental performance data, including relevant internal and external reporting requirements such as CSRD and OGMP
• Provide advice on environmental performance, emissions management and reduction initiatives
• Drive improvements in environmental data systems and reporting tools

Qualifications

• Requires relevant higher university degree.
• Requires typically 5-10 years relevant experience
• Good knowledge of NCS and European regulations and standards
• The job requires high level of expertise and a thorough understanding of the oil and gas industry practices, Company's needs and general business conditions.
• Is in full command of the English and Norwegian language
• Preferable valid offshore safety course (GSK)
