Job summary

Head Energy in Stavanger, Norway, seeks an Environmental Advisor to support its environmental discipline and activities. The role focuses on expert environmental management, assessments, and ensuring compliance with applicable standards and regulations.

You will contribute to regulatory processes, emissions management, and reporting for CSRD and OGMP, while driving improvements in data systems and reporting tools. Fluent in English and Norwegian is required.

Qualifications

  • Requires relevant higher university degree.
  • Requires typically 5-10 years relevant experience.
  • Good knowledge of NCS and European regulations and standards.
  • Is in full command of the English and Norwegian language.
  • Preferable offshore safety course (GSK).

Job Description:
  • We are looking for an Environmental Advisor to support the company’s activities within the environmental discipline.
  • You will be responsible for providing expert advice on environmental management, conducting environmental assessments, and ensuring that all activities are carried out in accordance with relevant environmental standards and regulations.

    Main Tasks:

  • Provide environmental support to activities and projects
  • Contribute to environmental risk assessments and chemical assessments
  • Support regulatory processes and government correspondence
  • Coordinate the collection, verification, follow-up and reporting of environmental performance data, including relevant internal and external reporting requirements such as CSRD and OGMP
  • Provide advice on environmental performance, emissions management and reduction initiatives
  • Drive improvements in environmental data systems and reporting tools
Qualifications:
  • Requires relevant higher university degree.
  • Requires typically 5-10 years relevant experience
  • Good knowledge of NCS and European regulations and standards
  • The job requires high level of expertise and a thorough understanding of the oil and gas industry practices, Company’ s needs and general business conditions.
  • Is in full command of the English and Norwegian language
  • Preferable valid offshore safety course (GSK)
