Job summary

Erithy invites applications for an Environment Advisor based in Stavanger, Norway. The role involves providing environmental support to client activities and projects, contributing to risk and chemical assessments, and supporting regulatory processes and reporting requirements.

Erithy, previously known as Be Better Contractors, specializes in the design and construction of sustainable subsea infrastructure globally.

We deliver consultancy services within the oil and gas industry, high voltage cables, biogas and hydrogen, as well as civil engineering services and project administration.

We are now looking for an Environment Advisor for one of our customers based in Stavanger.

Duration: ASAP - 30.06.2027

Responsibilities:

  • Provide environmental support to Client's activities and projects
  • Contribute to environmental risk assessments and chemical assessments
  • Support regulatory processes and government correspondence
  • Coordinate the collection, verification, follow-up and reporting of environmental performance data, including relevant internal and external reporting requirements such as CSRD and OGMP
  • Provide advice on environmental performance, emissions management and reduction initiatives
  • Drive improvements in environmental data systems and reporting tools

Requirements:

  • Requires relevant higher university degree.
  • Requires typically 5-10 years relevant experience
  • Good knowledge of NCS and European regulations and standards
  • The job requires high level of expertise and a thorough understanding of the oil and gas industry practices, Client's needs and general business conditions.
  • Is in full command of the English and Norwegian languages
  • Preferable valid offshore safety course (GSK)
