Job summary

Flynn is seeking an experienced Environmental Health and Safety Advisor to join project teams in the Nordics. You will establish and direct the implementation of the HS&E strategy on large-scale commercial/construction projects.

The role reports to the EHS Lead and involves guiding policies, conducting inspections, risk assessments, training, and subcontractor management to maintain a positive safety culture.

Qualifications

• Third level qualification in EHS or a related discipline.
• 3+ years’ experience working on large scale commercial/construction projects.
• Highly organised and capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously.
• Conscientious, highly focused and detail orientated.
• Self-starter and the ability to build relationships with all stakeholders.
• Full clean driver’s license preferable.
• Excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Health & Safety Guidance: Implement Flynn’s EHS policies and provide guidance on all health and safety matters.
• Policies, Procedures & Documentation: Assist in drafting, reviewing, and maintaining EHS documentation.
• Inspections, Audits & Reporting: Conduct site inspections and audits and prepare reports.
• Risk Management & Incident Reporting: Complete risk assessments and ensure incidents and accidents are investigated.
• Training & Communication: Identify training needs and deliver EHS training sessions.
• Subcontractor & Stakeholder Management: Ensure subcontractor compliance with EHS standards
