Job summary

Capgemini is hiring a Digital Engineer to join the team shaping how clients manage engineering and asset information across the lifecycle. You’ll blend engineering, data and digital tech to turn complex data into actionable insights.

The role covers implementing and improving information management solutions, data quality, governance and integrations, with exposure to AI, digital twins and automation in energy and industrial contexts.

Qualifications

• Relevant engineering, technology, or information-management background.
• Experience with engineering applications (Octave/Hexagon, Aveva, Engineering Base or Comos).
• Interest in digitalization, data and emerging technologies.
• Understanding of data structures, information flows, and engineering processes.
• Experience with engineering information or asset information management is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Support implementation, configuration and improvement of engineering and asset information management solutions.
• Work with engineering data, documents, tags, equipment and other asset information.
• Work with engineering applications and data exchanges.
• Analyze and improve data flows and engineering processes.
• Define requirements and translate business needs into digital solutions.
• Assist configuration and administration of engineering applications and information platforms.
• Explore integrations and data exchange opportunities.
• Contribute to data quality, governance and information standards.
• Explore AI, automation, digital twins and analytics for clients.
