Job summary

DNV AS is seeking ambitious AI Engineers to accelerate AI value for customers. You will work at the intersection of technology, business innovation, and product development, turning emerging capabilities into practical solutions with measurable impact.

You will design AI-powered applications, build prototypes, and collaborate with software engineers, data scientists, and leaders to translate business problems into scalable AI deployments.

Qualifications

• Master's or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, AI, Software Engineering, Cybernetics, Robotics, Mathematics, Physics, or a related field.
• Alternative: documented relevant and equivalent experience in those fields.
• Experience developing software solutions using Python or comparable programming languages.
• Understanding of machine learning, generative AI, or modern data technologies.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication skills in English.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop AI-powered applications and agentic solutions.
• Build prototypes and proofs of concept using modern AI platforms and large language models.
• Collaborate with business units to identify opportunities where AI can improve efficiency, decision-making, and customer value.
• Create digital twins used for simulation, modelling and measuring performance.
• Translate business challenges into technical solutions and experiments.
• Contribute to AI operations, AI assurance practices, and scalable deployment approaches.
• Support innovation projects from ideation through pilot and implementation.
• Evaluate new AI technologies and help shape DNV's future AI capabilities.
