Job summary

Life Kitchens is seeking a general operative for its manufacturing site. The role involves packing components, quality checking each order, and palletising before despatch. You will build internal customer-supplier relationships to understand requirements at each stage of the process.

The position focuses on adhering to the production plan, supporting panel and cabinet manufacturing when needed, and maintaining organised work areas while following company policies.

Qualifications

• Experience in a similar role.
• Ability to read drawings and identify quality issues.
• Strong fault finding and problem solving abilities.
• Ability to lift panels and other products as required.
• Excellent organisational skills.
• Ability to own and develop work areas.
• Ability to demonstrate continuous improvement skills.

Responsibilities

• Quality checking, unloading and packaging of product.
• Ensure deliveries are made on time and in full according to the production plan.
• Assist in manufacturing panels and cabinets when required.
