Job summary

Kaffebakeriet AS in Oslo is seeking a combined kitchen assistant and dishwasher to prepare sandwiches, salads, quiches and yoghurt, and to manage dishwashing and cleaning. The role requires fluent English communication, computer literacy for our packing and production systems, and adherence to IK-MAT internal control routines.

You will work early shifts in a busy bakery known for high quality ingredients, and you will help ensure the next day’s production and delivery readiness.

Qualifications

• Read, write and communicate effectively in English
• Web system used for packing and production
• Previous kitchen experience is an advantage

Responsibilities

• Sandwich production and delivery organization – Make sandwiches and pack items and organize orders ready for delivery.
• Production of salad, quiche, yoghurt and cold porridge.
• Preparing ingredients and recipes for next day production.
• Quality control -- Ensure that all items are made to the required standard and any deviations are handled accordingly.
• Communication -- Work closely with other departments and communicate important issues in a timely way.
• IK-MAT -- Ensure that internal control routines are followed and documented in the appropriate format.
• Cleaning -- Conduct cleaning tasks as required.
