Job summary

Thor is seeking a Mechanical Package Manager for a data centre project. You will lead the delivery of the mechanical package from installation through testing to handover, coordinating with subcontractors, consultants and client teams to meet safety, schedule and budget targets.

The role requires strong leadership, extensive experience in mechanical building services, and a track record of delivering mission-critical projects on time and to high quality standards.

Qualifications

• Degree/HND in Mechanical Engineering or Building Services.
• Minimum 5 years in mechanical package or project management in data centres.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, chilled water, plant rooms and pipework.
• Proven leadership and subcontractor management skills.

Responsibilities

• Own the mechanical package from installation to handover, hitting milestones.
• Lead Mechanical Supervisors and coordinate labour and resources.
• Manage subcontractors, suppliers, safety, progress and quality.
• Review drawings, BIM models, RFIs to meet project requirements.
• Monitor schedules, labour cost, variations and procurement with PM.
• Oversee QA/QC and assist commissioning and handover of systems.
• Promote a positive safety culture and compliance with H&S.
