Job summary

Aligned Data Centers is seeking a Facility Manager to coordinate the 24x7 operations of one or more data center buildings and lead a team of technicians. The FM will ensure safety, performance, and regulatory compliance while delivering high-quality service to multiple customers.

The ideal candidate has extensive facility management experience in data centers, strong leadership, and excellent communication skills to partner with cross-functional teams across Aligned.

Qualifications

• Requires 5+ years overseeing building systems and critical facilities equipment.
• Professional licenses in electrical and/or mechanical fields are strongly preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret project documents and technical drawings (AutoCAD/Visio).
• Proven project management and cost-tracking capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of facility technicians and on-site staff.
• Ensure adherence to change control processes and approved MOPs/SOPs.
• Oversee preventive and contracted maintenance across multiple buildings.
• Maintain safety standards and conduct regular safety inspections.
• Provide regular facility performance reports to senior management.
• Act as primary on-site contact for customer relations and escalations.
