Job summary

Wilhelmsen - Careers at Sea seeks a 2nd Engineer with proven EOW experience on modern cruise vessels. You will report to the Staff Chief Engineer and independently manage engine room watch duties, safety, and maintenance. Strong communication and leadership are essential for this role in a dynamic fleet.

Requirements include STCW Engine Officer certification, SOLAS/MARPOL/ISM knowledge, PMS familiarity, and English fluency. Pre-employment checks apply.

Qualifications

• Candidates must have EOW experience on a modern cruise vessel.
• STCW 95 Engine Officer certification required.
• Strong knowledge of SOLAS, MARPOL and ISM.

Responsibilities

• Reports to Staff Chief Engineer and keeps independent engine room watch.
• Ensures safe management of engine room operations and maintenance.
• Demonstrates great communication, organizational and reporting skills.
