Job summary

Wilhelmsen - Careers at Sea is seeking a 1st Electrician for our cruise fleet. The role requires Senior Electrician Officer experience on modern cruise vessels, ETO certification, and high-voltage training in line with STCW 95 amendments. Strong knowledge of ISM procedures, PMS practices, and reporting are essential.

Fluent English, excellent interpersonal skills, and proven team leadership are required. Candidates will undergo standard pre-employment checks including medical and drug/alcohol

Qualifications

• Senior Electrician Officer experience on modern cruise vessels (min 2 years).
• ETO Certificate of Competency.
• High Voltage training per STCW 95 as amended.
• Knowledge of cruise maritime operations and ISM procedures.

About the job CRUISE FLEET / 1ST ELECTRICIAN

• Relevant experience as Senior Electrician Officer on modern cruise vessel with minimum 2 years in equivalent position.
• Certificate of Competency ETO
• High Voltage Training and other certificates according to STCW 95 as amended.
• Good knowledge of cruise maritime operations and on board ISM procedures.
• PMS and inventory management skills, good reporting skills.
• Good experience on trouble shooting from advanced powered systems.
• Fluent command in English.
• Great interpersonal skills and good team leading ability.
• Good references.
• As part of our hiring process, candidates will undergo standard pre-employment checks, including medical and drug/alcohol testing.
