Job summary

Capstone Property Recruitment is seeking a Senior Project Manager for a major data centre project in Skien, Norway. The role leads CSA delivery, manages schedule and budget, and coordinates CSA with MEP, design and client teams.

You will oversee procurement, subcontractors and risk management, ensuring safety and quality throughout pre-construction to handover, with strong leadership and stakeholder engagement.

Qualifications

• Degree or equivalent qualification in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture or a related discipline.
• At least eight years’ experience delivering major construction projects.
• A minimum of three years’ experience in a Senior Project Manager position.
• Proven experience delivering data centres, mission-critical facilities or similarly complex construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of reinforced concrete, structural steel, façades and architectural packages.
• Experience managing procurement, contracts and subcontractors.
• Strong commercial, programme and risk-management capabilities.
• Experience coordinating CSA, MEP, design and commissioning teams.
• Knowledge of Primavera P6 or MS Project and BIM workflows.
• Excellent leadership, communication and stakeholder-management skills.
• Strong commitment to safety, quality and successful project delivery.

Responsibilities

• Lead the delivery of all CSA works, including enabling works, groundworks, reinforced concrete, structural steel, façades, roofing, architectural finishes and external works.
• Manage CSA subcontractors from procurement through installation, completion and close-out.
• Review and technically evaluate tenders, proposals and subcontractor packages.
• Support pre-construction activities, buildability reviews and value engineering.
• Coordinate CSA design development in accordance with client specifications and the project programme.
• Manage project schedules, budgets, quality standards and safety performance across the CSA scope.
• Lead site teams, monitor productivity and resolve technical or construction issues.
• Coordinate interfaces between CSA, MEP, commissioning, design and client teams.
• Manage RFIs, technical submittals, change control, risks and project reporting.
• Oversee subcontractor progress, variations and commercial performance.
• Lead snagging, defect resolution, handover and final project close-out.
• Promote a strong culture of safety, quality and collaboration across the project.

The Role

An experienced Construction Project Manager is required to lead the Civil, Structural and Architectural delivery of a major data centre project in Skien.

Working closely with the Project Director, you will manage the CSA scope from pre-construction through to practical completion and handover, providing leadership across programme, commercial management, quality and safety.
