Job summary

Luxury Hotel Alta in Alta, Norway is seeking a dedicated Concierge to welcome guests, assist with check-in, and provide expert local information. You will arrange reservations, handle special requests, and liaise with hotel departments to ensure seamless service.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma (hospitality degree preferred) and at least 2 years in concierge or customer service roles, with excellent English and strong problem-solving abilities.

• Handle guest complaints and resolve any issues in a timely manner
• Maintain a clean and organized lobby area
• Keep track of guest requests and follow up to ensure satisfaction
• Liaise with other hotel departments to ensure smooth operations
• Participate in training programs to enhance knowledge of the hotel's services and local area

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; college degree in hospitality management preferred
• Minimum of 2 years experience as a Concierge or in a customer service role within the hospitality industry
• Excellent communication skills in English (additional languages are a plus)
• Knowledge of local attractions, restaurants, and transportation options in Alta
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think on your feet
• Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail
• Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays

Salary: $1300/month with free visa and ticket provided.
