Job summary

Head Energy Consulting AS is seeking a Commissioning Engineer to perform Completion and Commissioning activities for topside equipment, including valve lists, CPCRs, and system testing.

This role involves flexibility with commuter/rotation at Stord/offshore and may include night shifts. You will prepare valve lists, complete CPCRs, and execute commissioning tasks while verifying installations against design and ISO standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience.
• Experience from offshore operations or maintenance.
• Familiarity with Project Completion Systems (PIMS).
• Knowledge of reading P&IDs and ISOs.
• Mechanical construction, completion or operational experience in Oil & Gas.
• Be self-motivated with a willingness to learn from others and work with minimum direction.

Responsibilities

• Perform Completion and Commissioning activities for topside equipment as instructed by SREs.
• Periodically commute or rotate at Stord/offshore; night shifts possible.
• Prepare, set and verify Valve & Blind lists; Complete CPCRs.
• Execute commissioning activities on dedicated systems per SRE direction.
• Verify field installations against design/ISO/P&IDs in collaboration with MC/Commissioning team.
• Participate in walk-downs and hand-over processes (RFCC) and in planning meetings.
• Ensure effective communication between operations, maintenance, contractors, and suppliers.
• Report to Commissioning SRE on ongoing activities.
• Assist with documentation for RFOC hand-over and related resources.

Job Description:

• The Commissioning Engineer is responsible for performing Completion and Commissioning activities as instructed by the Commissioning System Responsible Engineers (SRE) related to the fabrication and system testing of topside equipment.
• This position requires flexibility and periods as commuter or rotation at Stord/offshore to be expected. Possible night shift.
• Prepare, set and/or verify Valve & Blind lists
• Complete CPCRs
• Execution of Commissioning activities assigned by the Comm SRE on dedicated systems
• Verify Construction Field installations are according to design/ISO/P&IDs in collaboration with Commissioning SRE or others in MC/Commissioning team.
• Knowledge/knowledge of reading/understanding P&IDs and ISOs
• Participate in check-out, verification (Walk Down/Yellow line) according to the RFCC (Ready for Commissioning Certificate) Hand-Over Process
• Participate in meetings for planning Commissioning activities.
• According to good Alliance practice, ensure effective communication between operation, maintenance, contractors, and suppliers
• Reporting to the Commissioning SRE regarding ongoing Commissioning activities
• Assist with the collection of documentation related to RFOC (Ready for Operations Certificate) Hand-over according to the System Lead's instructions
• Assist related ATS (Agreement for Technical Services) and other resources.
• Assist the Commissioning System Responsible (SRE) or other personnel in the Commissioning team[s] [/s]with regards to testing, verification and documentation.
• MC follow-up and punch-out of defined packages
• Contribute to ensure timely completion of commissioning activities in accordance with commissioning plans and requirements, while also meeting all client's project and operational requirements
• Contribute to the safe and efficient handover of relevant systems to the Asset Operations team upon completion of commissioning activities.

Qualifications:

• Skilled worker or a related field or equivalent education / experience.
• Experience from offshore in either operations or maintenance team is of great benefit.
• Track record of mechanical construction, completion or operational experience and delivery in the Oil & Gas industry.
• Familiarity with Project Completion Systems. PIMS and document management systems
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience
