Job Description:
- The Commissioning System Responsible Telecommunication is responsible for the planning, execution and supervision of Completion and Commissioning activities for designated systems related to the delivery and integration.
- Telecommunication responsible are also responsible for discipline input to systems connected to and controlled by designated systems.
- This position is fully mobile with base location onshore office Stord, Norway, start with a normal dayshift the a 2/3 rotation, and it will be an offshore rotation during hookup and startup.
- System responsible for ensuring planning, preparation and execution of commissioning for designated systems in a safe, efficient and timely manner according to Project Completion Strategy and commissioning plans and ensure they meet all project and operational requirements, including verification and assurance.
- Accountable for ensuring the safe and efficient handover of plant and equipment to the Asset Operations team upon completion of commissioning activities.
- Contribute in the preparation phase with review and verification of documentation and drawings that are relevant to MC and Commissioning of designated systems.
- Estimation and planning of commissioning scope of work onshore and offshore for designated systems, including input to plan.
- Able to work independently to plan and execute MC follow-up and commissioning activities.
- Participate in MC punch outs and FATs at supplier sites.
- Deliver input and update progress into project completion system PIMS.
- Develop, review, and implementation of commissioning procedures.
- Coordinate and Interact with different departments and disciplines to ensure efficient execution of commissioning with high focus on HSSE.
- Identify and follow up risks and opportunities related to commissioning.
- Plan and call off ATS as and when required.
- Manage assistance personnel from contractors and other resources providing services
- Ensure spare parts and special tools are available prior to execution of commissioning activities.
- Plan and ensure first fills are available in timely fashion and perform first fills.
- Provide leadership to ensure that a high level of focus is maintained on health, safety, and the environment to achieve Company's expectations.
- Plan and coordinate commissioning assistance and support as required.
- Participate in discipline MC punch rounds at sites for designated systems.
- Plan and execute commissioning activities in a timely manner based on Commissioning plan.
- Ensure a smooth transition from Project to Operation.
- Participate in pre-start-up and performance test reviews as necessary.
Qualifications:
- BSc. in Engineering or a related field or equivalent education / experience.
MSc. in Engineering or a related field or equivalent education / experience.
Essential experience and job requirements
- Experience from NORSOK projects.
- System-based commissioning knowledge and understanding
- Track record of delivery in the Oil & Gas industry for the Norwegian Continental Shelf and able to demonstrate effective system commissioning skills are a major advantage.
- Familiarity with Project Completions Systems and document management systems. Experience with PIMS is an advantage.
- Ability to engage and lead a team of commissioning engineers & technicians to achieve timely execution of commissioning activities.
- Minimum 10 years of relevant experience
