Job summary

Villa Nord, Trondheim's forthcoming boutique hotel, invites a welcoming waiter to join the opening team. You will greet guests, read the room and carry the experience from early coffee to the last glass, collaborating with the Assistant Restaurant Manager, Restaurant Manager, kitchen and bar.

You will help shape a culture rooted in history, craftsmanship and human connection, with opportunities for growth through wine and food training in a house being built from the ground up.

Qualifications

• Experience from restaurant, café or hotel service.
• Stays calm and attentive in busy rooms.
• Curious about people and enjoys making others feel welcome.
• Interest in food and wine and a willingness to grow knowledge.
• Communicates clearly, honestly and respectfully.

Responsibilities

• Hosting and serving guests across breakfast, café, restaurant and wine bar.
• Delivering a personal, warm and consistent guest experience.
• Sharing stories behind our menu and wines with knowledge and care.
• Preparing and maintaining the venue, ensuring calm flow before, during and after service.
• Working closely with kitchen and bar to ensure seamless service.
• Contributing to a service culture built on quality, respect and pride in the craft.
