Job summary

Villa Nord in Trondheim is seeking an Assistant Restaurant Manager to lead shifts, mentor the service team and ensure a cohesive guest experience from morning coffee to evening service. You will work closely with the Restaurant Manager, kitchen and bar to maintain standards that reflect our boutique hotel identity.

The role requires calm leadership, attention to quality, and a desire to grow into greater responsibilities over time.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Daily operations and shift leadership across breakfast, café and restaurant.
• Be a visible, steady host for guests and a clear leader for the team on the floor.
• Ensure a cohesive, personal guest experience aligned with Villa Nord values.
• Train, follow up and develop the service team on a day-to-day basis.
• Plan staff needs and workflow with Restaurant Manager, kitchen and bar.
• Contribute to development of wine portfolio and list.
• Uphold routines, standards and service culture and suggest improvements.
• Depise for Restaurant Manager when needed.
