Job summary

Villa Nord in Trondheim invites applications for an Assistant Restaurant Manager, a role close to the floor, leading shifts and ensuring quality from morning coffee to night cocktails. You will work closely with the Restaurant Manager, kitchen and bar, reporting to the Restaurant Manager.

You will train and develop the service team, plan staff with the Restaurant Manager, and contribute to the hotel's wine program.

Responsibilities

• Daily operations and shift leadership across breakfast, café and restaurant.
• Visible host for guests and a clear leader for the team on the floor.
• Ensuring a cohesive, personal and consistent guest experience in line with Villa Nord's values.
• Day-to-day training, follow-up and development of the service team.
• Staff planning and flow in collaboration with the Restaurant Manager, kitchen and bar.
• Contributing to the development of the hotel's wine portfolio and wine list.
• Upholding routines, standards and service culture – and suggesting improvements where you see them.
• Deputising for the Restaurant Manager when needed.
