Ohma Asian in Bodø is seeking an ambitious Bar Manager to lead and develop the bar team, collaborating closely with the Restaurant Manager and Head Chef to deliver exceptional guest experiences through high-quality beverages and service.

The role combines hands-on leadership with a positive culture, focusing on crew development, beverage program growth, and operational excellence in a vibrant dining venue by the marina.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a bartender in a quality-driven restaurant or cocktail bar.
• Leadership experience, or the ambition and qualities to grow into a leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of cocktails, spirits, wine, beer, and beverage service.
• A genuine passion for hospitality and guest experiences.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• The ability to stay calm and lead confidently in a fast-paced environment.
• A Norwegian or European work permit.

• Ensure consistently high standards of service, quality, and hospitality.

About the role

As Bar Manager, you will lead and develop our bar team while working closely with the Restaurant Manager, Head Chef, and the rest of the management team.

You are responsible for ensuring that every guest receives an exceptional experience through outstanding service, high-quality beverages, and a motivated team. This is a hands‑on leadership role where you lead by example and help create a positive and professional culture.
