Job summary

Enode is seeking a Backend Engineer to make the EV platform more reliable and scalable. You will work on the Platform Connect team, focusing on API integrations with EV chargers, OEM platforms, and energy partners, delivering a cohesive, high-quality connectivity layer.

You should be fluent in TypeScript/JavaScript, enjoy building integrations, and help improve monitoring, automation, and resiliency as Enode scales across Europe.

Qualifications

• Experience writing maintainable, testable backend code in API/integration contexts.
• Comfort with platform engineering focusing on connectivity layers.
• Proficient in JavaScript/TypeScript and comfortable in distributed systems.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain API integrations with OEMs and energy partners, ensuring reliability and tests.
• Improve connectivity platform by reducing incidents and increasing observability.
• Develop automations and internal tools to streamline monitoring and triage.
• Contribute to SLAs, monitoring, and alerting for reliability improvements.
• Collaborate with engineers across Enode and align platform priorities with product needs.
