Job summary

AutoStore seeks an experienced Freelance AV Support Specialist to provide onsite technical support for an AV-related activity in Vindafjord, Rogaland, Norway.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with AV equipment, meeting room technology, displays, connectivity, and basic IT/AV troubleshooting. Independent on-site work and coordination with remote teams will be essential to complete the activity as scheduled.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in AV Support / AV Technician / Audio-Visual Engineering.
• Hands-on experience troubleshooting AV equipment and connectivity.
• Good understanding of HDMI, DisplayPort, USB, Ethernet and basic networking.
• Experience with meeting room / conferencing equipment is an advantage.
• Ability to work independently at customer sites.
• Good troubleshooting and communication skills.
• Professional approach and ability to follow client procedures.
• Ability to coordinate with remote technical teams using Teams or similar communication tools.

Responsibilities

• Provide onsite AV support and troubleshooting.
• Install, configure, test, and troubleshoot AV equipment and peripherals.
• Troubleshoot issues related to displays, projectors, audio systems, microphones, cameras, and connectivity.
• Check and troubleshoot HDMI, DisplayPort, USB, Ethernet, and other AV connections.
• Perform basic configuration and testing of AV/meeting-room equipment.
• Identify hardware or connectivity issues and resolve them where possible.
• Coordinate with the remote/client technical team during the activity when required.
• Follow the provided Scope of Work (SOW) and onsite instructions.
• Document the work performed and provide an onsite completion report.
• Escalate unresolved issues to the appropriate remote support team.

Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced Freelance AV Support Specialist to provide onsite technical support for an AV-related activity at our client's location in Vindafjord, Rogaland, Norway.

The ideal engineer should have hands‑on experience supporting audio‑visual equipment, meeting room technology, displays, connectivity, and basic IT/AV troubleshooting. The role requires a reliable local or nearby freelance engineer who can attend the site as scheduled and complete the assigned activity professionally.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide onsite AV support and troubleshooting.
• Install, configure, test, and troubleshoot AV equipment and peripherals.
• Troubleshoot issues related to displays, projectors, audio systems, microphones, cameras, and connectivity.

Final tool requirements will be confirmed before the onsite visit based on the Scope of Work.
