Job summary

AutoStore is seeking an on-site Network Engineer in Stavanger to perform a comprehensive network and connectivity survey for the new office. The engagement covers fiber validation, room-to-room connectivity, and proper placement of network racks and access points.

The engineer will carry testing tools, assess WiFi and Ethernet deployment, and document actionable observations for the remote technical team to implement improvements.

Qualifications

• Strong networking and infrastructure experience.
• Hands-on experience with fiber connectivity and testing.
• Good knowledge of Ethernet, LAN/WAN and WiFi infrastructure.
• Experience with network rack assessment and AP placement.
• Ability to troubleshoot physical-layer and connectivity issues.
• Experience conducting onsite network surveys/assessments.
• Ability to work independently onsite and coordinate with the remote technical team.
