Job summary

Sperton Global AS is seeking an Automation / Software Engineer to join our Stavanger team. The role centers on designing, engineering, and implementing automation solutions for both onshore and offshore facilities, contributing to complex industrial and energy projects with advanced automation technologies.

Responsibilities include designing, programming, commissioning, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure project success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Automation, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
• Experience with PCS7 and SAS systems.
• Knowledge of WinCC, S5, or S7.
• Understanding of Ex and SIL requirements.
• Experience with engineering tools such as Sigraph, Microstation, Eplan, or AutoCAD.
• Familiarity with Norsok and IEC standards.
• Offshore safety certification is an advantage.
• Strong communication skills in Norwegian and English.
• Willingness to travel as required.

About the Role
