Isfjord Radio, a wilderness hotel at the edge of the Arctic, seeks a Head Chef to lead the kitchen and craft creative menus using local ingredients. You will manage a small team and collaborate with local trappers to maintain sustainable sourcing.

The role emphasizes delivering world-class dining in a remote setting, coordinating logistics, and upholding culinary storytelling after adventurous days in the Arctic.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as Head Chef or senior kitchen role.
• Strong leadership, teamwork and planning abilities.
• Ability to manage logistics in a remote setting.
• Valid Class B driving license and firearm safety training.

Responsibilities

• Lead the kitchen and craft creative Arctic menus.
• Oversee a small kitchen team and collaborate across the station.
• Ensure world-class dining reflecting Arctic culture and ingredients.
• Coordinate with local trappers and suppliers for sustainable sourcing.
• Oversee preservation and inventory of raw materials.
