Qualifications
- PhD in Physics or related field with AMO focus, or Master’s with 5+ years AMO experience.
- Strong practical experience in laser cooling, atomic physics and atom optics.
- Hands-on experience building, aligning and troubleshooting complex optical systems.
- Experience with vacuum systems and data acquisition tools.
Responsibilities
- Design, build and optimise laser-cooling experimental setups.
- Improve beam conditioning and control systems for performance and stability.
- Develop diagnostic/measurement techniques including spectroscopy and beam profiling.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to integrate atomic systems.
- Support deployment, training and knowledge sharing within the team.
- Contribute to documentation, reviews and technical decisions with calculations.
