Job summary

Halliburton’s Landmark Software & Services division in Oslo is seeking a founding Senior Software Developer to define the inner-loop experience for engineers and AI agents. You will shape standards, tooling, and workflows that accelerate delivery across the local engineering team.

You will pilot architectural approaches in real repositories, establish high-performance development environments, and drive cross-team adoption to raise quality and velocity across the software platform.

Qualifications

• Extensive hands-on software engineering experience at senior or staff level.
• Deep knowledge of build systems, test infra, and local dev environments.
• Practical experience with AI-assisted development workflows and tooling.

Responsibilities

• Define architecture for AI-enabled development at Landmark.
• Establish standards for local development, builds, tests, and docs.
• Design AI tooling layer connecting engineers with systems.
• Lead pilots and reference implementations in real repos.
• Define health metrics and scorecards for developer experience.
• Drive adoption of new tooling and standards across teams.
• Contribute to technical direction and team development.
