Job summary

Halliburton in Oslo is seeking a Software Engineer within the Landmark Reservoir Center of Excellence. This full-time role combines reservoir engineering insight with software development to deliver data-driven applications for Agile Asset Management.

You will collaborate with clients and a cross-domain team to deploy technology, enhance the application portfolio, and advance ensemble modeling and simulation efforts in a Lean/Agile environment.

Qualifications

• MSc in Reservoir Engineering, Petroleum Engineering, Drilling Engineering, Facilities Engineering, or Geosciences.
• Strong software engineering background.
• High proficiency in Python.
• Experience with Git.
• Familiarity with C#, F#, and JavaScript.
• Interest in reservoir modeling tools and decision-making.
• Ability to work in Lean/Agile environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop data-driven applications for Agile Asset Management software solutions.
• Collaborate with clients to deploy and grow technology and build innovative solutions in ensemble modeling and simulation.
• Work within a cross-domain software engineering team to support customers and improve application portfolios.
