Job summary

Happl, London-based, builds an employee benefits platform and seeks an Employee Benefits Technical Implementation Manager to configure complex global schemes across HR, Reward, and Finance. You’ll turn strategy into scalable rules, map data, and ensure deployments reflect client expectations.

You’ll join a growing function, own end-to-end implementations, and shape how Happl’s platform is deployed worldwide with AI-augmented workflows and strong cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in employee benefits with hands-on implementations.
• Experience owning multi-stakeholder implementations end-to-end.
• Experience with APIs, webhooks, and data integrations.
• Experience using AI tools (Claude, ChatGPT) and no-code platforms.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Highly organized, self-directed, able to manage multiple projects.
• Curiosity about HR tech and benefits landscape.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end customer implementations from discovery to go-live.
• Run structured discovery to understand benefits strategy in detail.
• Build and own advanced rules logic for eligibility and allowances.
• Own data mapping between HRIS, payroll, and Happl.
• Configure multi-country programmes with local nuances.
• Test rigorously before launch and validate scenarios.
• Automate implementation workflows using AI tools.
• Escalation point post go-live and drive fixes with Eng.
• Create reusable templates and playbooks for future launches.
• Partner with Customer Success to drive adoption and expansion.
• Provide feedback to Product/Engineering to influence roadmap.
• Analyze configuration and usage data to spot risks and opportunities.
• Champion AI-first workflows and stay curious about HR tech.
