Job description

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, which manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for an Account Manager — New Business & Closing (m/f/d) based in Norway.

As an Account Manager specializing in new business and closing, you will turn qualified sales opportunities into signed partnerships, helping businesses unlock the commercial potential of loyalty programmes. You will manage the full sales cycle, from discovery and solution development to presentations, negotiations, and contract closure. Working with small and medium-sized businesses, you will identify customer acquisition and retention challenges and demonstrate how loyalty solutions can drive repeat purchases and sustainable growth. You will collaborate closely with Sales Development Representatives and Customer Success to ensure a seamless customer journey, from the first qualified conversation through successful onboarding. By combining consultative selling, disciplined pipeline management, and AI-powered sales tools, you will help accelerate revenue growth in an expanding B2B loyalty market. This is an opportunity to join an international, remote-first team where commercial ownership, collaboration, and continuous improvement are central to success.

Accountabilities:
  • Own the full sales cycle: Manage qualified opportunities from initial discovery through solution development, proposal preparation, commercial negotiations, and signed agreements, taking personal responsibility for converting prospects into customers.
  • Conduct consultative discovery: Understand each prospect's business model, target audience, commercial priorities, customer acquisition challenges, and buying process to identify meaningful opportunities for loyalty partnerships.
  • Develop tailored loyalty propositions: Demonstrate how loyalty currencies, including airline miles and reward points, can help businesses attract new customers, increase spending, strengthen retention, and encourage repeat purchases.
  • Lead presentations and negotiations: Deliver compelling sales presentations, prepare customized proposals, address objections, negotiate commercial terms, and guide decision-makers toward confident purchasing decisions.
  • Maintain deal momentum: Establish clear next steps, engage relevant stakeholders, follow up consistently, and proactively address obstacles throughout the sales process to improve conversion rates and shorten sales cycles.
  • Manage pipeline and forecasting: Maintain accurate records in HubSpot, qualify opportunities objectively, track deal progression, and produce realistic forecasts based on customer engagement and demonstrated buying intent.
  • Leverage AI and sales technology: Use AI-powered tools to improve prospect research, meeting preparation, follow-up communications, and pipeline analysis while applying sound judgment to customer interactions and sales decisions.
  • Coordinate with internal teams: Work closely with Sales Development Representatives on qualified leads and provide Customer Success with structured handovers covering customer objectives, agreed deliverables, commercial commitments, and implementation expectations.
  • Contribute to sales strategy: Share insights on successful deals, common objections, customer needs, and conversion challenges to help refine sales messaging, improve the proposition, and strengthen the overall sales process.
  • Collaborate with sales leadership: Work directly with the Head of Partnerships on live opportunities, commercial strategies, performance improvement, and initiatives that support the growth of the sales team.
Requirements:
  • B2B sales experience: At least three years of relevant B2B sales experience, with a demonstrated track record of acquiring new customers and successfully closing commercial agreements.
  • Relevant industry background: Experience selling on the provider side of the loyalty, CRM, or marketing industry, such as within a loyalty technology company, software platform, agency, or specialist services provider.
  • Full-cycle sales ownership: Proven ability to manage opportunities independently from discovery and qualification through presentations, proposals, negotiations, and contract signature.
  • SME sales expertise: Experience selling to small and medium-sized businesses, managing multiple opportunities simultaneously, and adapting sales approaches to different customer needs and buying processes.
  • Commercial understanding of loyalty: Ability to explain loyalty programmes in straightforward business terms and connect proposed solutions to customer acquisition, retention, spending, and overall business economics.
  • Strong communication skills: Excellent presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building abilities, with the confidence to engage business stakeholders and communicate complex propositions clearly.
  • Language proficiency: Fluency in both German and English, with the ability to conduct sales conversations, deliver presentations, and negotiate effectively in both languages.
  • CRM and pipeline discipline: Practical experience using CRM platforms, ideally HubSpot, with strong habits around opportunity qualification, record keeping, follow-up, and forecasting.
  • AI tool proficiency: Confidence using AI tools in daily sales activities, including research, preparation, communication, and pipeline analysis, while maintaining accuracy and a personal approach.
  • Ownership and resilience: A proactive, persistent, and commercially motivated mindset, with the ability to maintain deal momentum, navigate objections, and take responsibility for results.
  • Learning and collaboration: Openness to coaching, a willingness to share knowledge, and a team-oriented approach to improving sales performance and contributing to shared goals.
  • Remote working readiness: Ability to work independently in an international remote environment and maintain reliable availability during shared Central European Time (CET) business hours.
Benefits:
  • Competitive compensation: A monthly compensation range of €5,000–€10,000, with a base salary and performance-based variable compensation.
  • Remote-first flexibility: Work remotely from anywhere in the world, subject to the role's working-hour requirements and applicable employment arrangements.
  • Work-life balance: A standard 40-hour working week and 24 days of annual leave.
  • Direct leadership access: Collaborate closely with sales leadership on active opportunities, commercial strategy, and professional development.
  • Clear role ownership: Benefit from qualified leads generated by Sales Development Representatives, with dedicated responsibility for closing deals and a structured handover to Customer Success.
  • Professional growth: Help shape sales processes, test new approaches, and contribute ideas as the partnership business expands.
  • International team environment: Work with a collaborative, ambitious team that values initiative, knowledge sharing, mutual support, and celebrating commercial wins.
  • AI-enabled sales environment: Use modern tools to streamline workflows, improve productivity, and strengthen sales execution.
  • Meaningful commercial impact: Help businesses unlock new customer acquisition and retention opportunities through innovative loyalty partnerships.
