Job summary

Stoneridge is seeking a Warranty Engineer in the Netherlands to manage the warranty system for assigned products and sites, ensuring timely, well-documented actions aligned with customer expectations. You will lead 8D root cause analyses, review warranty reports, monitor data trends, and drive cross-functional improvements with Engineering and Quality teams to reduce costs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering with solid automotive industry experience.
• Knowledge of quality methodologies and core tools (5 Whys, Ishikawa, 8D, FMEA, etc).
• Advanced analytical skills for data handling and deriving actionable insights.
• Experience or exposure to embedded software/hardware is a plus.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills across organizational levels.
• Strong organizational, analytical and collaborative skills; global project experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead cross-functional corrective actions and 8D to drive continuous improvement and reduce warranty costs.
• Review, validate, and approve warranty reports while ensuring customer charge compliance and managing disputes.
• Monitor and analyze warranty data (claims, trends, health charts) and identify risks.
• Manage warranty systems and data, databases, portals, and reporting.
• Conduct warranty part analysis and deliver customer-ready reports with conclusions and recommendations.
• Drive warranty improvement initiatives by collaborating with Engineering and Quality teams.
