Job summary

Stoneridge in Barneveld, Netherlands, seeks a Product Engineer Mechanical Engineering to support products in mass production within the Change Management and Series Engineering teams. The role emphasizes design changes, root-cause investigations and cross-functional collaboration.

You will work with Siemens NX and Teamcenter/Pro.File, maintain engineering data, and contribute to DFMEAs, APQP and PPAP processes while driving continuous improvement across projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics or related field.
• 5-7 years in product development with hands-on 3D CAD experience.
• Strong knowledge of automotive development standards and quality processes (DFMEA, APQP, PPAP, 8D).
• Experience with BOMs, supplier collaboration and prototype procurement.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and cross-functional communication skills.
• Fluency in English; Dutch language skills are advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and improve existing products via design changes and verification.
• Lead technical investigations to identify root causes and implement solutions.
• Coordinate engineering change activities across products and processes.
• Utilize Siemens NX, Teamcenter/Pro.File to manage designs and documentation.
• Collaborate with project teams, suppliers and customers on DFMEA and continual improvement.
